It was all very well deciding to make a skincare range, but what factors were important to me to do it right?

That question sat with me for a long time. Skincare is a crowded space, full of promises and packaging. But for me, creating LivMeraki was never just about products – it was about purpose. It was about values that felt non-negotiable. It was about heart.

At its core, LivMeraki exists because I believe skincare should be thoughtful, not just trendy. I wanted to build something rooted in integrity; something that respects the skin, the planet, and the people who use it. That meant every step had to be intentional.

I started with questions, not answers. What does it mean to treat your skin kindly? How can a skincare product be a practice of self-love? And most importantly: How can we create something honest, effective, and beautiful, without compromise?
